RV Parks and Campgrounds
Do you own an RV park or campground that utilizes old septic tanks? Have you been contacted by your state, or been given a deadline to address your wastewater treatment issues? Have you been cited or fined? If so, you are going to have to do something about it!
Satisfy the state
In most cases, replacing an old septic system with an aerobic system will address the issues facing the owner of an RV park or campground. If you have communication or notices to share with us, we can see how to address them.
Replace or augment existing septic tanks
The BIG BLUE system can replace or utilize existing septic tanks as holding tanks. Multiple blue systems can be installed in various locations throughout a campground instead of using tanks, pumps and collection lines required for centralized wastewater treatment. The BIG BLUE system also works well as pre-treatment for wastewater lagoons.
A cleaner solution
The BIG BLUE system is a great option to put cleaner water back into the ground. Many RV parks and campgrounds use wells for water. They also distribute the well water to their customers. Think about how clean that water is. Remember, the water you put into the ground will end up in your well sooner or later!
It’s not ugly, noisy or smelly
The BIG BLUE system has a low odor, visual and noise profile so it won’t detract from the aesthetics of its surroundings. The treatment tank is small in size (it fits in a parking space!). In many cases, landscaping can completely obscure the treatment system from view.
Some of the benefits BIG BLUE can offer!
- Lower cost option, cheaper than centralized WWTP and collection system
- Easier, cheaper maintenance
- Better for environment, easier approvals than septic
- Small, low profile will not detract from value of lots
- Protect wells
- Replace existing septic tanks, cluster installation
